WHY DID YOU CHOOSE UNT Health COLLEGE OF PUBLIC HEALTH?
I chose the UNTHSC College of Public Health because of its diverse campus, numerous
student support services, and convenient location in Fort Worth. Another major benefit
for me was having the opportunity to learn in an environment that encourages interprofessional
education and volunteering directly with the community. In addition, the emphasis
that is placed on obtaining internship experience allows me to feel confident as I
step into the industry following graduation.
HOW DO YOU PLAN ON APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE YOU GAIN TO YOUR FUTURE CAREER?
Following the completion of my program, I hope to make a difference in healthcare
organizations for marginalized groups through the improvement of accessibility, quality,
and efficiency. The Master of Health Administration program highlights proficiency
in areas related to concepts of finance, process improvement, data management, and
communications which will allow me to make relevant change possible. As the industry
continues to grow, I am certain that the skill set provided will be essential to my
future endeavors related to improving healthcare for all.
