WHY DID YOU CHOOSE UNT Health COLLEGE OF PUBLIC HEALTH?
As a Texas resident I wanted a strong, in-state program, and UNT Health not only offered
that, but was local to the metroplex as well. I also had friends that went to TCOM
and recommended the school.
HOW DO YOU PLAN ON APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE YOU GAIN TO YOUR FUTURE CAREER?
I am a bit of a non-traditional student in that my MPH comes at the back half of my
career instead of the front. Beyond just the enjoyment of deepening my understanding
of Public Health, the degree also serves as a “receipt” of sorts for the experience
I gained throughout my career, along with the new things I picked up here.
