WHY DID YOU CHOOSE UNT Health COLLEGE OF PUBLIC HEALTH?
I chose the UNT Health College of Public Health because I wanted to diversify and
expand my healthcare skillset while concurrently pursuing my DO degree at UNT Health’s
Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
HOW DO YOU PLAN ON APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE YOU GAIN TO YOUR FUTURE CAREER?
As a future physician, I want to incorporate public health principles into my practice
to heal not only my patients, but the community at large. Preventative medicine is
a key piece of this puzzle, and learning about this type of care from both a public
health perspective and a medical perspective will allow me to do just that.
