WHY DID YOU CHOOSE UNT Health COLLEGE OF PUBLIC HEALTH?
I chose UNTHSC College of Public Health because one of my dental school professors,
an alumnus who earned his MPH here, highly recommended it. He spoke about the strong
academic environment and the school’s commitment to values like Serve Others First,
Integrity, and Collaboration, which align with my own goals in public health.
HOW DO YOU PLAN ON APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE YOU GAIN TO YOUR FUTURE CAREER?
I plan to apply the knowledge I gain at UNTHSC to enhance my ability to address public
health challenges within dental care. By integrating public health principles into
clinical practice, I aim to promote preventive care, improve access for underserved
populations, and contribute to community-based health initiatives that support overall
well-being.
