WHY DID YOU CHOOSE UNT Health COLLEGE OF PUBLIC HEALTH?
I chose UNTHSC college of public health because it is located in a campus dedicated for health sciences creating an invaluable opportunity to engage with other healthcare professionals. As an international student, I was also looking for a diverse and engaging community where I could learn and grow both personally and professionally. In addition, I have found the college’s epidemiology program very interesting due to its emphasis on internships and working on real world projects giving students a head start in their public health career.

HOW DO YOU PLAN ON APPLYING THE KNOWLEDGE YOU GAIN TO YOUR FUTURE CAREER?
As a clinician and public health specialist, I plan to apply skills gained in research design, data analysis, and visualization to translational researches. I aim to build a career in clinical research. Focusing on various childhood diseases and treatment plans to reduce morbidity and mortality of children. Ensuring that evidence-based clinical research outcomes reach individuals and communities effectively. UpToDate researches are vital to providing high quality medical care and I aim to be a leader in this core healthcare field.
