05/15/2026Expert on 'zombie cells' will provide keynote at symposium focused on health and aging UNT Health Fort Worth will host the 2026 Neurobiology of Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease Symposium on May 19, bringing together researchers to examine how aging and senescent, or “zombie,” cells contribute to conditions including Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, cardiovascular disease and glaucoma.
