UNT Health Fort Worth's College of Pharmacy faculty provide additional services, including Health Economics and Outcomes Research and Consultation Services.
The UNT Health College of Pharmacy (HSCCP) faculty has more than 100 years of collective HEOR experience. The interdisciplinary team of investigators formally trained in economics, pharmacy, epidemiology, biostatistics, medicine, public health, and health policy have comprehensive research capabilities. They have collectively published more than 400 research articles. They are able to offer services to conduct HEOR studies related to real-world evidence (RWE) and real-world data (RWD). These may include but are not limited to chronic disease burden (epidemiology, mortality, morbidity and cost), diverse therapeutic areas [e.g., cancer, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, COPD, arthritis and Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD)], healthcare resource utilization (issues of access, cost, affordability, quality and outcomes), Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacoepidemiology, patient-reported outcomes (health related quality of life and patient satisfaction with care), comparative effectiveness of therapies and services, and health policy evaluation studies.
