Signs and Symptoms of an Opioid Overdose
- Dizziness and confusion
- Body weakness
- Sleepiness
- Slow breathing
- Slow heart rate
- Pinpoint pupils
- Face is pale and/or feels cold
- Unconsciousness
- Vomiting or making gurgling noises
- Slow or no responsiveness
What to Do During an Opioid Overdose
- Check for responsiveness
- Call 911
- Roll onto back
- Gently check for responsiveness
- Open the Naloxone package
- Place tip fully into open nostril
- Place in recovery position
