Dr. Johnathan Tune named Interim Assistant Dean for Research
Dr. Johnathan Tune has been appointed as Interim Assistant Dean for Research for the
College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences. He will perform the administrative
duties of this role along with those of his primary faculty position of Chair and
Professor of Physiology and Anatomy.
Dr. Tune brings proven leadership and research expertise to this position and will work closely with CBTS leaders on strategies to enhance our research capabilities and partnerships. This addition to our leadership team aims to elevate our research profile and support faculty in securing grants and conducting impactful research, an effort that is crucial to our growth and success.
His new appointment begins Oct. 1, 2024.
