Dr. Stephen Mathew named director for CRM program

Dr. Stephen Mathew, associate professor of microbiology, immunology and genetics has been named director of the MS in Clinical Research Management (CRM) program. Dr. Mathew brings extensive experience in graduate education, clinical research training and program leadership, and he previously served as program director for CRM.  

As director, Dr. Mathew will provide operational leadership for the CRM program, overseeing research compliance, curriculum coordination, internships and capstone experiences. He will work closely with students, faculty, administrative staff and external partners to support admissions and recruitment efforts, track program outcomes and ensure high-quality experiential training and continued program growth. 

Dr. Mathew has served as an instructor and course director for multiple CRM courses, including Clinical Research & Studies, Clinical and Research Ethics, Clinical Data Management and Regulatory Affairs.
