MPH – Public Health Leadership Concentration
The Master of Public Health program develops practice-ready effective public health professionals equipped to address complex health challenges among a myriad of populations. The program delivers interdisciplinary training in designing, implementing, and evaluating public health services; equips individuals to identify and assess the social, economic, cultural, and environmental determinants of population health; and strengthens the expertise required to shape policies that promote healthy behaviors and support community well-being. Graduates from UNT Health contribute meaningfully across a wide range of organizations and agencies dedicated to promoting and protecting health in human populations.
The following degree plan presents the Public Health Leadership concentration (Online Delivery)
The Master of Public Health in Public Health Leadership is a 48-semester credit hour program designed to transform students into the public health leaders of tomorrow. Our graduates are equipped with knowledge and skills that will enable them to emerge as prominent public health leaders. The Public Health Leadership concentration equips graduates with a set of interdisciplinary skills to navigate the most pressing public health problems. This is an interdisciplinary degree that provides education and training for full-time students who wish to begin or advance their career in leadership.
