Introducing the Absolute Q Digital PCR System

A QuantStudio real-time PCR instrument from Applied Biosystems sitting on a laboratory bench. The black rectangular device has a blue accent stripe and a smooth front panel covering the reaction chamber. It is used in molecular biology laboratories to perform quantitative PCR experiments for detecting and measuring DNA or RNA in biological samples.

Genomics Core has recently acquired the cutting-edge Absolute Q Digital PCR system, marking a significant advancement in our research capabilities. The addition of this state-of-the-art technology will revolutionize our ability to analyze and quantify nucleic acids with unparalleled precision and sensitivity. The Absolute Q Digital PCR system utilizes innovative digital PCR technology, enabling us to accurately detect and quantify rare mutations, copy number variations, and gene expression levels in a wide range of biological samples.

A comprehensive training session on the Absolute Q Digital PCR system will be held on June 20, 2023. This training session aims to familiarize users with the instrument's operation, data analysis software, and best practices for experimental design and optimization.
