About Us
AIM-AHEAD - Where AI/ML Meets Health Research
AIM-AHEAD is a national program funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and launched in 2021. AIM-AHEAD was established to address inequities in the development and use of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) in biomedical research and healthcare.
The Institute for Health Disparities (IHD) at University of North Texas Health at Fort Worth serves as the Leadership Core of the Administrative Coordinating Center (A-CC) and prime awardee for AIM-AHEAD, providing national leadership, governance, and operational coordination for the consortium.
