UNT Health ranks among nation’s top institutions for graduate earnings
UNT Health Fort Worth ranked among the top institutions in the nation for graduate
earnings, according to a recent analysis by Business Insider using data from the U.S.
Department of Education’s College Scorecard.
The analysis found that UNT Health graduates earn a median income of $119,000 four years after graduation, placing the institution alongside nationally recognized universities and health science-focused institutions across the country.
Business Insider highlighted UNT Health’s programs in health administration, medical and biomedical sciences, osteopathic medicine and public health as key areas contributing to graduate success.
Dr. Trisha Van Duser, UNT Health senior vice provost, said the recognition reflects UNT Health’s commitment to preparing students for meaningful careers in healthcare and research.
“This recognition speaks to the quality of education and training our students receive at UNT Health,” Van Duser said. “Our graduates are entering high-demand healthcare fields prepared to lead, serve their communities and make a meaningful impact across Texas and beyond.”
The ranking comes as healthcare workforce demand continues to grow nationwide, particularly in Texas, where the need for physicians, public health professionals, researchers and healthcare leaders remains high.
The College Scorecard, maintained by the U.S. Department of Education, tracks outcomes including student debt, graduation rates and post-graduation earnings for students who received federal financial aid.
