E-Eycling Event

  • Time: 7:30-10:30 a.m.
  • Location: Loading dock of the Medical Education and Training Building (near intersection of Bunting and Haskell avenues)
  • Free to the public and the UNTHSC campus

You’ve seen the warnings. Your discarded home electronics don’t belong in the garbage bin, where identity thieves can mine them. They don’t belong in the landfill, where toxins such as lead, arsenic and cadmium can leach into the water supply and food chain.

Bring them instead to the UNT Health Science Center Earth Month E-Eycling event, a free service to our campus and our community. A vendor will wipe the data and safely recycle your items.

It’s easy – just drive up, get assistance unloading, then be on your way. Everything from computers, cables and phones to microwaves and TVs are accepted. See the list.

The E-Cycle Event is part of our Earth Month observances, coordinated by the UNTHSC Office of Sustainability in collaboration with departments all across the university.
