Uzbekistan Ministry of Health delegation visits UNT Health
UNT Health Fort Worth welcomed a delegation of government officials from Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Health to campus Sept. 28 for a visit focused on higher education, healthcare, research and innovation.
During the visit, the delegation met with UNT Health leaders to learn more about how academic health institutions educate future health professionals, advance research and engage with their communities. Discussions also explored opportunities for collaboration among universities, health systems, government and industry.
The visit provided an opportunity for UNT Health leaders to share perspectives on the U.S. academic health environment while learning more about Uzbekistan’s efforts to strengthen and modernize its healthcare system.
