Barbara Harty, AGNP-C, is a board-certified gerontological nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of healthcare experience, including service as an Army medic in Germany and 17 years as an ICU nurse. Passionate about improving the lives of older adults, she is actively involved in Alzheimer's disease and memory care research and provides care in assisted living facilities, memory care communities, and skilled nursing units.
