Kate Taylor, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 29 years of experience, including service as an Army Nurse Corps Officer in critical care settings. A Certified Professional in Patient Safety and Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice, she is also a board member of Dementia Friendly Fort Worth and a recipient of the Tarrant Area Gerontological Society’s Mildred O. Hogstel Award and the Texas Nurse Practitioners’ Visionary Award. Dedicated to improving care for older adults, she provides advance care planning, house calls and care through Fort Worth's premier continuing care retirement communities and the UNT Health Center for Older Adults.
