Consultation & Coordination

Coordinated institutional review
ECIC provides Research Data Management coordination and guidance within its assigned responsibilities. Technical approval, cybersecurity, privacy, human-subjects determinations, contractual authority, records decisions and institutional risk acceptance remain with the appropriate UNT Health offices. Research Security is governed separately and is not an ECIC service.
Provide only general, non-sensitive information in the intake. Do not include research datasets, protected health information, controlled technical information, passwords, passport information or detailed investigation narratives. ECIC will request supporting records through an appropriate controlled method when needed.
