Long-term Pain and Function Outcomes Associated With Lumbar Spine Surgery for Chronic Low Back Pain: A Target Trial Emulation

We are proud to announce that five second-year students from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM), who completed the Osteopathic Research Center (ORC) Summer Program in Clinical Research 2025, have been recognized as co-authors on a study published recently in the International Journal of Spine Surgery.
 
This remarkable achievement highlights the strength of TCOM’s commitment to early research engagement. These students have contributed to a full-length, peer-reviewed publication in an international, high-impact journal at an exceptionally early stage in their medical training.
