Device approval, cybersecurity, privacy, human-subjects determinations, contractual authority, records decisions and institutional risk acceptance remain with the appropriate UNT Health offices.

Do not rely on public screening tools as an institutional clearance. Submit the General Intake so ECIC can coordinate the official review.
Training & Consultation
ECIC provides role-based training and consultations for researchers, faculty, staff, students and administrative teams. Topics can include export-control fundamentals, international travel, project planning, restricted-party screening and research data management.
Before You Send Information
Use the intake to describe the activity at a high level. Do not include controlled technical data, export-controlled source code, passwords, Social Security numbers, patient information or other sensitive records unless ECIC provides an approved method.
