Performing Arts Medicine (PAM) Fellowship
The Performing Arts Medicine (PAM) Fellowship at UNT Health is a formal training program for a period of one year with the intention of providing advanced and concentrated teaching in the principles and related practice of performing arts medicine with supervision by specialists in the field.

Research
The Texas Center for Performing Arts Health has established a vibrant research program to help with systematic advancements in knowledge, research training, musician and clinician education, and service. The UNT College of Music offers extraordinary opportunity as a research site for faculty and students because of its large, diverse student and faculty population.

History
Following the Applications of Music & Medicine conference at UNT in 1996, Dr. Ben Cohen, then Executive Dean for UNT Health, along with Dr. David Shrader, then Dean of the UNT College of Music, encouraged and supported the development of a shared center between the Denton and Fort Worth campuses.
