The third annual Vision Science Symposium is the leading forum for eye health research and its connection to improving health outcomes. This day-long event features research poster presentations, guest and keynote speakers, and opportunities to collaborate with other researchers and clinicians.

Dr. Carla Siegfried will be the keynote speaker for the 2026 Vision Science Symposium. Dr. Tonychris Nnaka will be our guest speaker at the 2026 Vision Science Symposium.

 

We are looking for abstract submissions. If you are a student or researcher who would like to present your eye health-related research, please submit your abstract by July 20.

On Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, NTERI hosted the second annual Whole Health Eye Symposium.  A heartfelt thank you to all who have participated and made this event a success.

Additionally, we would like to thank our guest speaker, Dr. Jamboor Vishwanatha, who presented on “AI/ML in advancing health: The AIM-AHEAD program.” His presentation centered on the usage of AI/ML in healthcare.

Higginbotham, who challenged our perspectives with her presentation on “Reconceiving Fundamentals of Knowledge and Science in the 21st Century.” Her insights into reshaping our understanding in this rapidly evolving era left us inspired and motivated.
