Sonia Redwine, MPH, MCHESDirector, Office of Care and Civility 817-735-2725 As the director of the Office of Care and Civility (OCC), Sonia provides leadership and oversight for services within the department. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in health from Texas A&M University and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is also a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. Her professional experience includes improving health and wellbeing at individual and population levels in community based and higher education settings, with an emphasis on behavioral health. In her spare time, Sonia enjoys playing tennis, snuggling with her dogs, and spending time with her family. Strengths: Harmony – Adaptability – Relator – Learner – Maximizer |

Sophia Brockman, MPH, CPHAssistant Director, Be|Well Sophia Brockman serves as the Assistant Director of Be|Well in the Office of Care and Civility (OCC). She leads the Be|Well program and works closely with Be|Well Champions to promote a culture of wellness across campus. Sophia is passionate about supporting student mental wellness, preventing burnout, and fostering meaningful connections with students. Through intentional, skills-based programming, she helps students build resilience and maintain balance throughout their academic journey. She holds a BA in Psychology and Human Services from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Public Health Leadership from UNT Health. Outside of work, Sophia enjoys spending time with her partner and friends, cuddling her cats, reading, and catching a good movie. |

Katie CroweSenior Student Services Coordinator, Conduct and Care Katie Crowe is one of the Senior Student Services Coordinator in the Office of Care
and Civility (OCC). In her role, she serves as a Student Conduct Officer and Care
Team representative. Katie chose to pursue a career in higher education because of
her passion for supporting students throughout their academic journey. It is extremely
important to her that students have what they need to succeed inside and outside of
the classroom. She holds a BA in English, with a minor in Educational Studies, from
the University of California, Santa Barbara and a MS in Higher Education from California
State University, Fullerton. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her
partner, checking out the local farmers market, and reading a good book.

Jillian CasburnSenior Student Services Coordinator, Compliance and Wellness Programming Jillian Casburn serves as a Senior Student Services Coordinator in the Office of Care and Civility (OCC). She assists with designing, facilitating, and tracking OCC wellness and compliance programming for the institution. Jillian has a fire for building community, creating open dialogue, and providing supportive resources to all college students. She holds a BS in Integrated Studies from Sam Houston State University, and is currently working towards a higher degree at the University of North Texas. When not at work, Jillian enjoys spending time with her partner, watching documentaries, and hosting dinner parties for her friends. Strengths: Connectedness,, Empathy, Input, Developer, Belief |
