International Requirements for Admission
UNT Health Fort Worth welcomes applications from qualified students around the world. International applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency and provide US course equivalency documentation for any coursework completed outside the United States.
Please review the requirements below carefully before applying. The requirements listed below are in addition to any admission requirements for the program you are applying for, not a substitution. Please contact Admissions if you have any questions or concerns.
English Language Proficiency
All applicants must demonstrate the ability to successfully complete graduate-level coursework conducted in English.
Applicants may satisfy this requirement through one of the methods outlined below.
International Transcript Evaluation
Applicants who attended institutions outside the United States must submit an official WES ICAP Course-by-Course Evaluation
The evaluation must:

Include all post-secondary coursework completed outside the United States

Provide U.S. degree equivalency

Include course-by-course analysis and GPA conversion

Be submitted directly from World Education Services (WES) to the application service (not UNT Health).
Applicants should begin the evaluation process early, as international credential evaluations may take several weeks to complete.
UNT Health recognizes WES ICAP Course-by-Course and ECE Course-by-Course evaluations as equivalent forms of international credential evaluation. Acceptance of a specific evaluation provider may be limited by the requirements of the application service used by a particular program. Applicants should consult their program's application instructions (linked below) to determine if the service accepts WES or ECE prior to obtaining an evaluation.
