UNT Health Center for Older Adults has developed an array of resources to instruct about age-friendly and dementia-friendly health care for use by educators to engage and educate a broad range of learners.
Dementia simulation: Window to My World
Window to My World is an immersive dementia simulation developed by UNT Health Fort Worth to help students and health professionals better understand the experiences of individuals living with cognitive impairment. Through guided activities that incorporate sensory and cognitive challenges, participants gain insight into the effects of dementia and develop greater empathy for those living with the condition and their caregivers.
