National AETC Program and Resources

TAKE on HIV is a project of the National AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC). The AETC program is the clinician training and support arm of the HRSA HAB Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. Its mission is to enhance HIV prevention and care in the United States through educational and capacity-building support of the HIV clinical workforce.

Through comprehensive healthcare workforce education, clinician consultation, and technical assistance, the AETC Program enhances the quality of HIV care outcomes for people with HIV and communities disproportionately impacted by HIV across the United States and its territories.

The AETC has 8 regional centers, each with multiple (local) partners offering tailored training and technical assistance.
