Sean Hubbard, PhD
Program Director/Principal Investigator
Dr. Hubbard is an Assistant Professor with the College of Public Health and the Department of Health Administration and Health Policy. He holds a doctorate in Public Policy and Political Economy from the University of Texas at Dallas. Driven by his belief that health insurance coverage does not equate to access, Dr. Hubbard’s research focuses on healthcare-related financial decisions made by economically vulnerable households. He seeks to use his research to remove financial barriers to healthcare and improve patients’ ability to navigate complex healthcare systems. Dr. Hubbard’s recent work examines medical debt and cost avoidance among American Indians and Alaskan Natives, as well as the role of financial knowledge in healthcare-related financial decisions.

Crystal K. Hodge, PharmD, BCIDP, BCPS
Curriculum Integration Co-Investigator
Dr. Hodge is an Associate Professor with UNT Health Fort Worth System College of Pharmacy in Fort Worth and practices as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Specialist Pharmacist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She contributes curricular and implementation science expertise to the TAKE on HIV project. Dr. Hodge’s passion for inter-professional practice aligns well with her role in curricular implementation to improve HIV education across healthcare professional curricula. Additionally, she is board certified in infectious diseases as well as pharmacotherapy. Her current practice interests include multi-drug resistant infections, infections in immunocompromised hosts, fungal infections, public health, and scholarship of teaching and learning. Her research is organized into Specific, Targeted, and Optimized Management of Pathogens using the research pillars of Outcomes, Utilization, and Therapeutics (STOMP OUT ID). Dr. Hodge’s life goal is to make her job obsolete, indicating that humans won the war on infections thanks to key changes in patient care, practice patterns, and public messaging.

Charlotte Noble, PhD, MPH, MA
Co-Investigator & Evaluation Lead
Dr. Charlotte A. Noble serves as Co-Investigator and Evaluation Lead for the TAKE on HIV Program. In this role, she contributes demonstrated expertise in program implementation and evaluation, including evaluating and reporting on federally funded initiatives, and supports high-quality, accessible education to strengthen the HIV workforce. Trained in applied anthropology and public health, Dr. Noble brings longstanding experience in HIV-related research, evaluation, and workforce development, with a focus on non-medical drivers of health and access to care that is responsive to individual needs and circumstances. Her scholarship and applied work examine lived experiences along the HIV Continuum of Care, with emphasis on treatment and medication adherence, through collaborations with non-governmental organizations and HIV service organizations in domestic and international settings. She also serves as Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Academic Services and Assistant Professor in the Department of Population and Community Health at the UNT Health College of Public Health.

Suyen Schneegans, MA
Training and Technical Assistance Lead
Suyen Schneegans serves as the Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Lead for the TAKE on HIV project. Ms. Schneegans oversees the development and delivery of training and tools for Health Professions Programs (HPP) and supports HPP faculty with National HIV Curriculum (NHC) integration and expansion of HIV knowledge content within their programs. She has a MA from the University of Texas at San Antonio in Bicultural Bilingual Studies with a concentration in Cultural Studies, and a BA in Spanish, Literature and Language with a minor in Psychology from the University of the Incarnate Word. Her professional background includes work on a range of social science projects focused on substance use disorders, community health, and provider education and training. A skilled qualitative researcher, Ms. Schneegans has presented at numerous local and national conferences and has co-authored several publications.

Vittoria Cuellar, MS
Training & Technical Assistance Facilitator
Vittoria Cuellar is a public health program leader with experience managing complex initiatives across HIV prevention and care, maternal and child health, and workforce development. She has led multi-partner projects funded by federal agencies, supporting research, training, and technical assistance efforts nationwide. Her work focuses on building systems that expand access, strengthen capacity, and advance positive health outcomes through clear strategy, strong partnerships, and practical implementation.

Blake Ross, MPH
Training & Technical Assistance Navigator
Blake Ross serves as the Training & Technical Assistance Navigator for the TAKE on HIV project. Mr. Ross is a Research Coordinator within the Department of Health Administration and Health Policy at UNT Fort Worth's College of Public Health. He earned his Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from UNT Health Fort Worth. As a part of his MPH practicum, Mr. Ross spent time working with urban farming projects and discount food events in Southeast Fort Worth and gathered extensive data on the food inventory of vendors across Tarrant County. From these experiences, his professional desire is to contribute to innovative and multifaceted approaches to building healthier and more resilient communities.

Trisha Melhado, MPH
Evaluation Co-Lead
Trisha Melhado serves as the Evaluation Co-Lead for the TAKE on HIV project. As a Senior Research Scientist, she brings experience in various research roles, where she provides research guidance to faculty and residents on all aspects of the research process with an emphasis on study methodology and statistical analysis. Ms. Melhado has collaborated with faculty from multiple institutions to implement multi-year grant funded projects and has worked on CPRIT, DOD, and HRSA-funded grants as well as provided analytical and statistical expertise to projects. She has presented research at local and national conferences in addition to co-authoring several publications based on her analytical contributions.

Aishatu Yusef, MBBS, DrPH, MPH
Research Scientist/Project Coordinator
Dr. Aishatu Yusuf serves as a Research Scientist and Project Coordinator for the TAKE on HIV project. Dr. Yusef has years of experience in HIV clinical care and HIV programming. Aishatu holds a DrPH from Texas A&M University, an MPH from Cardiff University, Wales, United Kingdom, and a Medical Degree (M.B.B.S) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. Her research expertise is in Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Infectious Diseases, with an interest in Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Tuberculosis and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). She also serves as a research scientist evaluating the Texas Rape Prevention & Education (RPE) Program.

Aanchal Sharma, MBBS
Graduate Research Assistant
Aanchal Sharma is a Graduate Research Assistant and Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) candidate at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She holds a medical degree (MBBS) and has experience in infectious disease response, public health surveillance, and program evaluation. As part of the Take on HIV project, she supports evaluation activities through data management and analysis, and contributes to translating findings for dissemination through reports and webinars. Her interests include infectious disease epidemiology, surveillance systems, and data-driven public health decision-making.

Ruth Serrano Pinilla, MD
UT Health San Antonio SC AETC Director
Dr. Serrano is the Clinical Director of the UT Health San Antonio South Central AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC), which partners with TAKE on HIV in the delivery of HIV training and curricula. She is an Assistant Professor in the Infectious Disease Division at the University of Texas Health at San Antonio and provides treatment for patients with complex infections requiring long term antibiotics in the Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Clinic (OPAT) in the University Hospital System. She also provides comprehensive medical care to patients living with HIV.

Sarah Lill, MA
UT Health San Antonio Site Lead
Ms. Lill is the UT Health San Antonio site-PI of the TAKE on HIV program, overseeing its partnerships, business, and administrative operations. She holds a BA in Communication Studies from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and an MA in Arts Management from George Mason University. Ms. Lill has provided overseen financial and administrative operations in the Center for Research to Advance Community Health (ReACH) at UT Health San Antonio since 2016 and has over a decade of experience in financial and administrative management, strategic management, entrepreneurship, and public relations in non-profit and higher education settings.

Raudel Bobadilla, MPH, CHW-I
UT Health San Antonio SC AETC Program Manager
Raudel Bobadilla serves as the Program Manager for the UT Health San Antonio South Central AIDS Education and Training Center (UTHSA-AETC), provides dissemination and programmatic support for the TAKE on HIV Program. As a Community Health Worker Instructor (CHW-I), he has built a robust skill set for engaging and partnering with communities, care providers, and clinics to improve the population’s health. He has collaborated with community members, leaders, and organizations in multiple projects to connect the public and organizations to services and research opportunities. Mr. Bobadilla brings considerable experience as a Program Manager for an HCV screening and linkage to treatment project. He helped create innovative treatment pathways in over 30 clinics across 46 counties in South Texas and Rio Grande Valley. Through close collaboration with each clinic, Mr. Bobadilla trains staff in program protocols, adapts the care model to the context of each site, and serves as lead contact between clinic partners and the research team.

Divya Chandramohan, MD
HIV Curriculum Integration Advisor and ECHO Specialist (SC-AETC)
Dr. Divya Chandramohan is an Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases at UT Health San Antonio. She brings her perspective as a clinician to HIV curriculum development and assists with the planning, curriculum structure, outreach and implementation of TAKE on HIV.

Keito Kawasaki, MPH
Senior Research Associate
Keito Kawasaki is a Senior Research Associate at the Center for Research to Advance Community Health (ReACH) at UT Health San Antonio. She provides coordination support for the Hepatitis and HIV/Hepatitis Coinfection ECHO program within TAKE on HIV. Keito earned her MPH from the Tulane University School of Public Health with a concentration in global health and joined UT Health San Antonio in January 2018. Her research interests include HIV, hepatitis C, health systems strengthening, health program management, and monitoring and evaluation. She is committed to improving access to high quality HIV and HCV care for all.
