Who We Are

The Pre-Award team provides comprehensive support throughout the proposal development and submission process to help ensure your application is accurate, compliant and competitive. We assist investigators and departments with interpreting sponsor guidelines, developing proposal timelines, preparing and reviewing budgets and justifications, coordinating internal approvals and initiating and managing proposal records in GRAMS.

The Pre-Award team also facilitates institutional routing and review, ensures alignment with university and sponsor requirements, and submits proposals on behalf of the institution. By partnering closely with principal investigators (PIs), departmental staff and internal partners, the Pre-Award team helps streamline the process and reduce administrative burden — allowing you to focus on the scientific and programmatic components of your proposal.
