Community Assets
Community Assets
Community assets refer to the people, places, and systems that strengthen collective well-being and resilience within a geographic area. These assets include schools, faith-based organizations, local businesses, parks, healthcare facilities, social networks, and cultural institutions, each contributing to the social fabric that supports health outcomes.
This site, scheduled for public release in Spring 2026. Community Assets layer visualizes data and narratives that highlight where strengths exist and where additional support is needed. This framework encourages data users, researchers, policymakers, and residents alike—to view health as a shared responsibility, rooted in relationships, environment, and the lived experiences of people within the DFW region and beyond.
